Privacy Policy
Maranatha Bible School International respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Maranatha Bible School International (MBSI), located at #3 1st Street, Santo Niño, Marikina City, is the personal information controller for the data described in this notice. If you have any question about how your data is handled, write to us at admissions@mbsimain.org or visit the campus office.
Through this website we collect: the name, email address, and message you send through the contact form or chat; the account details you give when you sign up (name and email address); and the information you submit through the online enrollment application - personal information, church background, education, program choice, and your testimony. For enrolled students, the portal also holds academic records such as grades and schedules.
We use your information only for the purposes you would expect: answering your messages, creating and securing your student account, processing and deciding on your application, communicating enrollment status, running the student portal and messages, and keeping the records the school is required to keep. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
This website keeps tracking to a minimum. We use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless and privacy-friendly analytics tool that cannot identify you. YouTube videos are embedded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no tracking cookies until you choose to press play. The site itself sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
Access to student records is limited to authorized school staff. Data is stored with an encrypted connection, and administrative actions on your records are logged. Payment details are never collected on this website.
Your information stays within MBSI and its founding church, the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch), except when sharing is needed to run the school (for example, an email service delivering our messages) or when the law requires it. Our service providers process data only on our instructions.
Contact messages are kept while they remain useful for the school's work, then deleted. Enrollment applications that are not approved are kept for 12 months after the decision and then permanently erased, together with the account created to apply, sooner if you ask us, and we honor erasure requests at any time. Records of enrolled students are kept while you remain enrolled and afterwards for the period school records must be retained, then securely disposed of. Photos that no longer appear anywhere on the site are removed from our storage during regular cleanup.
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased or blocked when the law allows, to object to its processing, to data portability, and to damages. To exercise any of these rights, write to admissions@mbsimain.org and we will respond within the time the law requires.
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the school first - and with the National Privacy Commission, the government agency that enforces the Data Privacy Act, at privacy.gov.ph.
